The One Life Project is home to a non-emergency national helpline that works to aid those in need through education, resource assistance, and support. We also are home to Citizens of Change, a world-wide chain of online and interactive support groups that operate to allow a place for all to come and get support, learn new things, advocate for others, and feel included and heard in our inclusive and open environment.

Our National Helpline

Our National Helpline officially launches in April 2024

Welcome to the One Life Project's National Helpline for Mental Health Education, and Advocacy — a beacon of support, understanding, and empowerment for youth and young adults.

Our helpline is a non-emergency lifeline for those navigating the complexities of mental health challenges. We provide a compassionate space where every voice is heard and every individual is valued. Whether you are seeking guidance or support, are struggling with your mental health, or are advocating for a friend or loved one, our support team would be happy to talk with you.

You can also email us at helpline@projectonelife.org with any questions or if you are seeking a resource.

At the One Life Project, we believe in the transformative power of advocacy. Our helpline is not just a listening ear; it's a conduit for change. We offer a judgment-free environment, where individuals can share their stories, seek valuable resources, and receive support from one of our educational advocates.

By actively promoting mental health awareness and destigmatizing seeking help, we aim to contribute to a society where everyone feels supported in their mental health journey.

The One Life Project's National Helpline is more than just a helpline; it's a testament to the transformative impact that advocacy can have on individuals and communities. We are dedicated to being a source of hope, understanding, and positive change for all those who reach out. Remember, your journey matters, and at the One Life Project, you're never alone.

Our National Support Groups

The One Life Project is home to several different virtual support groups. Our support groups through social media and our website are a virtual space where individuals from all walks of life come together to share, support, ask questions, and uplift each other on their mental health journeys. Our social media support groups serve as a dynamic extension of our commitment to mental health advocacy, providing a platform for connection, understanding, and empowerment.

Joining our support groups on social media means becoming part of a community that values every voice and understands the power of shared experiences. Whether you're seeking a listening ear, looking to share your story, ask a question, or are interested in learning from the experiences of others, our support groups provide a safe and inclusive environment where individuals can connect and find solace.

Our social media support groups are not just about sharing challenges; they're about celebrating victories, fostering resilience, and collectively advocating for mental health awareness. With regular discussions, expert insights, and community-driven initiatives, our groups aim to empower each member to navigate their mental health journey with strength and understanding.

Currently, we have support groups on Facebook and our website. In March of 2024, we will be adding a support group to our Instagram platforms.

Why Support Is Important

Mental health support is paramount in fostering individual well-being and cultivating a society that prioritizes the health of of our youth. Recognizing the intricate interplay between emotional, psychological, and social factors, mental health support provides a crucial foundation for individuals to navigate life's challenges with positivity and confidence.

By offering understanding, empathy, and support, we're able to assist others in a more preventive role, mitigating the risk of more severe issues emerging over time.

Moreover, a society that embraces mental health support contributes to reduced stigma, fostering open conversations and creating an environment where individuals feel safe to seek help without fear of judgment. Beyond the individual impact, investing in mental health support has wide-ranging benefits for communities, workplaces, and educational institutions, fostering a culture of compassion, understanding, and collective well-being.

In essence, mental health support is an indispensable component of building a healthier, more empathetic, and strong society for everyone, where self-care, confidence, and love are practiced daily. Spreading a little love and compassion can go a long way! ♡
