STATE COLLEGE, PENNSYLVANIA -- The One Life Project (OLP), a student-founded and student-led youth mental health organization, is continuing its rapid regional growth with a major expansion into Pennsylvania and New Jersey this summer, 2026. Building on its strong Northeast presence, OLP will open three new offices designed to increase access to mental health education, prevention programming, and community-based support for young people and families.

The expansion will begin in early June with the opening of a new office in Hershey, Pennsylvania, followed by a new location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in mid-June. A third office in Trenton, New Jersey, is scheduled to open in late August, completing OLP’s first coordinated expansion into the Central Mid-Atlantic region.
Founded in upstate New York and now operating across multiple states, the One Life Project has built its reputation on a model that combines youth leadership with community-driven mental health initiatives. With more than 2,500 volunteers and a growing digital reach connecting millions of young people, the organization continues to focus on meeting youth where they are; both in-person and online.
“This expansion is about accessibility and presence,” said Alexander Kovarovic, Founder and Senior Executive Director of the One Life Project. “We are hearing directly from young people across Pennsylvania and New Jersey who want more support, more education, and more open conversations around mental health. Right now we have only one office in Pennsylvania that serves all of PA, and all of New Jersey. By opening these offices, it allows us to build real, local connections while continuing to scale our impact."
Each new office will serve as a regional hub for programming, partnerships, and outreach. The Hershey office will focus heavily on community engagement and school-based initiatives across Central Pennsylvania, while the Philadelphia location will serve as a major urban center for partnerships, large-scale events, and youth advocacy efforts. The Trenton office will anchor OLP’s work in New Jersey, supporting both grassroots outreach and collaboration with schools and community organizations statewide.
Through these new locations, OLP plans to expand its core programming, including mental health education workshops, youth advocacy training, community events, and digital resource development. The organization will also continue to grow its volunteer network, with a strong emphasis on student leadership at the high school and college levels.
The expansion reflects a broader strategic vision to strengthen OLP’s footprint across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic while maintaining its identity as a youth-driven movement. By establishing physical spaces in new communities, the organization aims to deepen its impact and ensure that more young people have access to the tools, support, and conversations they need.

As mental health challenges among young people continue to rise nationwide, the One Life Project’s expansion into Pennsylvania and New Jersey marks a significant step in addressing these needs at the local level; one community at a time.
