ADULT AND PARENTS
EDUCATION CENTER

GUIDE FOR PARENTS, EDUCATORS,
AND THOSE WHO SUPPORT YOUTH AND STUDENTS
This Education Center will launch in September 2025.
College students and young adults today face overwhelming pressure—from academics and finances to identity and isolation. Nearly half report symptoms of depression, and many struggle silently.
As a parent, educator, or caring adult, your support matters. The One Life Project offers tools and resources to help you understand what they’re going through and how to show up with empathy, guidance, and support. Together, we can create a world where no young person feels alone.

Support starts at home, and we’re here to help.

Parents of Young Children
Laying The Foundation For Healthy Growth
The early years are when emotional habits begin to take shape. As a parent, you play the most important role in helping your child understand feelings, build confidence, and develop relationships. Through everyday routines, play, and honest conversations, you can lay the groundwork for emotional security, self-awareness, and trust that will last a lifetime.
Parents of Pre-Teens and Teens
Staying Connected Through The Tough Years
Adolescence brings big emotions, shifting identities, and new pressures. It’s a time when teens need connection, even if they don’t always show it. By staying present, listening without judgment, and offering consistent support, you can help your teen feel seen and valued as they navigate the challenges of growing up and figuring out who they are.

Parents of College Students
Supporting Independence Without Disconnecting
College and early adulthood are filled with growth, uncertainty, and change. As your child becomes more independent, your role shifts—but it’s no less important. Your steady presence, encouragement, and respect for their boundaries can help them build emotional resilience, handle stress, and feel supported as they learn how to live, love, and lead on their own.
Educators and Teachers
Creating A Safe & Supportive Learning Environment
Educators shape more than academic growth—they influence how students see themselves and the world. When classrooms are grounded in emotional safety and empathy, students are better equipped to learn, connect, and thrive. Small, intentional actions from educators can make a big difference in a young person’s mental wellness and sense of belonging.

Being A Steady, Positive Force
You don’t have to be a parent or teacher to change a young person’s life. A trusted adult who listens, shows up, and leads by example can become a powerful anchor. Whether you’re a coach, aunt, older sibling, or mentor, your care and consistency help shape a young person’s self-worth, confidence, and ability to face life’s ups and downs.

Together, we can make a difference.
Every caring adult has the power to shape a child's future.
Mental health is everyone’s responsibility. Small moments leave a lifelong impact. You don’t have to have all the answers, just show up. When we work together, kids thrive.
